Approximately 24” x 24” framed Fused glass and frit painting with cremains in the footsteps.
My sister Renate used to love walking through Assiniboine Park with my dogs Gypsi and CeCe. One brisk winter morning, a Free Press photographer captured a photo of her with the dogs. It was published to her surprise. Sadly, she passed away and this left a big hole in my heart. Her life was so much more, but a simple walk with the dogs through the park, brought her so much joy and peace. A year later Gypsi and CeCe passed away as well. They are pictured here transitioning from their walk in the park to the bright light that awaits them leaving behind only their ashes in the footsteps in the snow. Together, they walk forever and one day, I will see them on the other side. Private collection.
