A public park on the bank of the Red River has been reclaimed and is now an important green space with an interpretive centre. A fund raising brochure and associated material are used to educate potential donors of the importance of this land and its history. Nature, Métis history, Family roots and Market Gardening are the main panels that fold out to reveal the story of each section. A graphic visual of roots, whether it be vegetable or tree, tie in with the main headline, “Strong roots. Stronger community.” - the past, present and future of this beautiful park.
